Hi, We Are JEC.

Our Story.

Junior Entrepreneurship Circle is a platform dedicated to nurturing entrepreneurship and essential 21st-century skillsets among young individuals. Through engaging sessions, workshops, and interactions with industry experts, our primary focus is individuals up to high schoolers and equivalent students. As a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, JEC welcomes aspiring entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs, providing them with the environment and guidance needed to succeed in their ventures and professional endeavors.

Mission:

JEC is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, leadership, and excellence among young individuals. We strive to provide a platform where members can connect, learn, and excel, advocating for entrepreneurship education and awareness. Through mentorship and access to resources, JEC nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit and essential 21st-century skills in our members.

Vision:

We envision a future where every individual has the skills, mindset, and opportunities to succeed in entrepreneurship. By fostering a supportive ecosystem that nurtures young talents, we aim to create a generation of innovative, resilient, and passionate individuals who are poised to make a positive impact on the world.

Action Plan:

Our club aims to have a great foundation, a successful tenure, and a credible source of knowledge, mentorship, and networking for young people by the year 2082 B.S. All of these three aspects are interlinked but by a great foundation, we mean that we aim to make the future of this club sustainable. Components of a great foundation include maintaining a reputable image, making good decisions, and giving this club an even better core team for the next tenure. Our meaning for a successful tenure includes smooth execution of all the events and for being a credible source we want to be known as an organization with a selfless motive of fostering entrepreneurship in Nepal.

Mentorship by Experts:

We plan to conduct periodic mentorship sessions and workshops for our members. The speakers in these sessions will be industry experts who have done great on their journey. The sessions will be held once every two weeks until we can manage weekly sessions.

College Events:

We plan to conduct college events immediately after a new batch of students emerges in the valley at the beginning of the coming year, i.e., 2081 B.S. in the month of Shrawan/Bhadra. These events will be held in the colleges of the valley, and we are aiming for more than 25 colleges.

Incubation:

We plan to conduct at least one incubation event during this tenure, probably in Magh. On a selection basis, a few participants with their ideas will be chosen for this event, which will focus on the practicalities of entrepreneurship. Legal aspects like registration, introduction to PE/VC, pitch decks, and presentations will be covered. The core motive of this incubation event is to incubate early-stage startup ideas and generate entrepreneurs by providing them with resources to kickstart their ventures.
